EZ Riders electric bikes make the journey to Amsterdam

Published on May 16, 2014

We recently received some very kind words from a couple who took their Giga and Milli electric bikes on their holiday to Amsterdam.

Amsterdam, which is the most bicycle-friendly capital in the world, is considered to be one of the most important centres of bicycle culture.

Hundreds of thousands of tourists flock to the capital each year to take advantage of the some 400km of cycle paths around the city, so it was no wonder our happy customers Peter and Sue Shaw took their new EZ Riders bikes with them on their recent visit.

They had the following to say:

We just wanted to let you know how much we enjoy our EZ Riders bikes. We used to put our "ordinary" bikes on the back of the camper and, if there were any hills or long journeys where we were staying, the bikes usually didn't get much of an outing.

Now we have our EZ Riders bikes (my Giga and my wife's Milli), we can go much further afield from our base. We may still need to pedal going uphill, but with nowhere near as much effort as before! Also, now we are used to the power of the batteries on the flat, everything is so much easier.

The Giga is our hardtail electric mountain bike, and comes with front suspension, disc brakes font and rear and internal cable routing. The Milli is our Dutch style electric bike, which features plenty of carrying capacity and a low step-through frame design. The Milli is also available with a choice of front baskets and comfortable seats.
